Policies & Procedures

Players are required to maintain an acceptable form of behavior so as to not offend other players in the group or on the tour in general.

Players are required to follow all etiquette standards for all venues being played.

Scorecards are to be swapped before teeing off and players are to keep the score for the player they are scoring and themselves, any disputes in scores are expected to be handled within the group before score cards are turned in.  Once scorecards are turned in the scores are final.

Players are responsible for maintaining the Rules of Play within their group.  An honest break of a rule will result in a penalty of strokes as described by the USGA Rules of Golf  however "Cheating" will result in immediate DQ of that tournament without refund of entries and could result in banishment from the tour.

Every player has a voice, any player who has a concern has a responsibility to present their concern to the Player's Tour staff for consideration.  All concerns will be considered and handled timely and in the best interest of all players on the Players Tour.

Maximum playable handicap will be 16. Any player with a handicap over 16 may play but they will be entered as a 16 handicap for tournaments.

The tour will have 13 tournaments each season, not including winter events. The tournaments will be spread out approximately every three weeks taking into account summer holidays with the last tournament being the Tour Championship. Entry Fees for the Tour Championship will be covered by the Tour, not including course green fees or side games.

Players have to earn their way to the Tour Championship by playing in a minimum of 75% of the available tournament rounds prior to the Championship. Members who join during the year can have to play a minimum of 75% of the remaining tournament rounds and a minimum of 5 tournaments and still get invited to the Tour Championship. Injuries, work and things beyond a players control will obviously be taken in consideration.  We want consistent members.

The Tour Championship purse will be accumulated through the year from Membership fees and Tournament Administrative Fees minus Tour expenses, the more members the more that accumulates.  Tour Administrator will have the Tour Financial information available at any time to review with any and all members.  This tour is a players membership tour and the players have the right to financial explanations.

Each year the winner of the Tour Championship will win the next year's Tour Membership at no cost along with the winner’s purse of the tournament.

Players may bring guest as long as they inform committee by the Entry Deadline and guests will be allowed to play in Skins and 2’s but won’t be allowed to play in the tournament without paying a Membership Fee and their scores will not be used as establishing their handicap if they choose to join at a later date.

Due to payouts being made day of the tournament, tournament entry fees and side game entries must be paid in cash.
